Scholastic Olympics

Dear Parents/Students,


On Thursday, October 20, Saint Joseph Regional High School will sponsor its 18th Annual Scholastic Olympics.  It is an academic competition to stimulate educational interest and to recognize academic achievement.  Last year, more than two dozen Catholic elementary schools participated.  The areas of competition are Art, English, History, Mathematics, Science, Spelling, Computers, Religion, and Super Quiz.

The schedule goes as follows…

3:00 pm   Registration

3:15-4:15   Competition; refreshments in the cafeteria for chaperones and    

                Parents

4:15-4:50   Refreshments for students

5:00 pm   Presentation of Certificates of Participation and Trophies

5:30 pm   Completion of Competition and Awards Program


  • All students need to bring 2 #2 pencils and 2 pens.

  • Those participating in the Art category need to bring their own media or materials for drawing.

  • Calculators can be used in the Science category, not Mathematics.
